Participate in CHILD RESEARCH!
The Speech in Little Bilinguals Lab is recruiting children ages 6-9 whose first or only language is English to participate in a study about learning new speech sounds. Children must have typical or corrected vision and hearing.
Children complete a hearing screening, a speech sound learning game on an eye-tracker, and standardized language tests. Parents or guardians will fill out questionnaires about the child’s language development and language environment.
The study will take place at KU in the Speech in Little Bilinguals Lab or at your closest public library and will include 1 session that lasts about 1 hour. Participants will be compensated $20 per session for participation, and can receive their child’s test results.

영어와 한국어 구사하는 아동
Speech in Little Bilinguals Lab에서 이중 언어 발음에 대한 연구에 참여할 만 3-6 세 아동을 모집합니다. 시력/청력 장애 없고 영어와 한국어 노출 받는 아동을 찾습니다.
아동은 청력 검사를 받고, 두 언어로 표준 발음 검사를 받고, 시선 추적 컴퓨터 게임을 하고 음성 녹음을 합니다. 부모님 또는 보호자께서는 아동의 언어 발달과 언어 환경에 대한 설문서를 작성합니다.
참여자 주택에 제일 가까운도서관 혹은 KU Speech in Little Bilinguals Lab에서 실험이 진행 됩니다. 1-2회 방문에 방문당 소유 시간은 1-1.5 시간. 참여자는 방문당 $30의보상을 받고 아동의 검사 결과를 받을 수 있습니다.

The Speech in Little Bilinguals Lab is recruiting children ages 3-6 to participate in a study on bilingual speech. Children must have typical or corrected vision and hearing, and know English & Korean.
Children complete a hearing screening, standardized speech tests in both languages, and make voice recordings. Parents or guardians will fill out questionnaires about the child’s language development and language environment.

Phòng Thí nghiệm Ngôn ngữ cho Trẻ em Song ngữ đang tuyển dụng trẻ em từ 3-6 tuổi tham gia vào một nghiên cứu về ngôn ngữ song ngữ. Trẻ em phải có thị lực và thính lực bình thường hoặc đã được điều chỉnh, và biết Tiếng Anh và Tiếng Việt.
Trẻ em sẽ hoàn thành bài kiểm tra thính lực sàng lọc, bài kiểm tra ngôn ngữ chuẩn hóa bằng cả hai ngôn ngữ, và ghi âm giọng nói. Phụ huynh hoặc người giám hộ sẽ điền vào bảng câu hỏi về sự phát triển ngôn ngữ và môi trường ngôn ngữ của trẻ.
Nghiên cứu sẽ diễn ra tại thư viện công cộng gần nhất của bạn hoặc tại KU trong Phòng Thí nghiệm Ngôn ngữ cho Trẻ em Song ngữ và sẽ bao gồm 1 hoặc 2 buổi học, kéo dài khoảng 1 đến 1.5 tiếng. Người tham gia sẽ được trả 30 đô la mỗi buổi học cho sự tham gia và có thể nhận được. Kết quả kiểm tra của con bạn.
